Last year, I reached out to doctors interested in creating health content for their practice.

I was able to work alongside Dr Daniel Lantsberg, a renowned fertility specialist featured in docu-series Big Miracles, to help his audience better understand fertility treatments and related topics.

Born in Manila and now calling Melbourne home, I'm no stranger to navigating life between many worlds. Over the past years, I've founded nonprofits, curated startup brands, moved countries at 19, and along the way discovered how creativity could meet purpose in ways I never imagined.

How does a girl in science fall in love with product design?

Like a cat hidden in the tall grass, design was always there, quietly watching over and supporting me. I leaned on it to run successful charity events, to make my scholarship applications stand out, and later to build a small business that supported my family during the pandemic. Even in university, whether presenting research or collaborating on group projects, my instinct to design always gave me an edge. What once seemed like a side skill revealed itself as the backbone of how I solve problems and connect ideas. Today, that same instinct drives my work in digital health at MCHRI, where I’m co-designing tools to help women with PCOS navigate supplement research.Forward-thinking, curious, and empathetic, I’m passionate about building tools that improve health outcomes and bridge gaps for underserved communities. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me reading historical fantasies, trying out new recipes, or baking far more cookies than I could possibly eat!

Seine Essentials

A foundry of products that seek to improve the daily flow and cycle of energy in people’s souls.

VISUAL BRAND IDENTITY • PACKAGING DESIGN

BRAND MARK

A custom illustration of the “tree of life,” reimagined as a modern symbol of balance and renewal. Its hand-drawn outline adds warmth and character, making it a bold emblem that reflects Seine Essentials’ mission to bring calm to the soul.

Hermana

Simplifying women's hormonal health, and building a community where trust, well-being, and empowerment thrive.

VISUAL BRAND IDENTITY • PACKAGING DESIGN

Stella Eleven

Founded in California by a former professional boxer, Stella Eleven seeks to create an inclusive line of athletic apparel for the modern woman.

VISUAL BRAND IDENTITY • ILLUSTRATION

CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS

Most boxing wrap tutorials lean overly masculine, with unclear steps and low-quality visuals. We wanted to create a clean, step-by-step illustrated guide that feels elegant, easy to follow, and accessible without being overly feminine.

MY ROLE

Leading feature design, product strategy, and prototyping

As the sole designer and lead researcher, I worked closely with end-users through co-design workshops and consulted with a multi-disciplinary advisory group to shape the product roadmap, resulting in a mid-fidelity prototype grounded in user needs.

PROBLEM

A lack of consumer-friendly, evidence-based supplement resources

PCOS is a hormonal disorder affecting 1 in 10 women, with 70% using supplements to manage their symptoms. Yet, access to reliable, consumer-friendly information online on supplement research remains limited.

Online, women often face conflicting advice, variable quality, and confusing scientific jargon. With no clear guidance, it’s hard to know which supplements are safe, which might help, and what the research is actually saying.

RESEARCH

Working with users, not just for them

We used a co-design approach guided by the Double Diamond framework, making sure that women with PCOS weren’t just participants, but equal partners in shaping Evia.

Through two group workshops with 24 participants and three rounds of iterative prototyping, we listened to their stories, understood their challenges, and worked together to design something that felt relevant, supportive, and easy to use.

SOLUTION

Can't figure out what supplement works for your PCOS symptoms?

No problem. Let Evia do the heavy lifting for you.

Evia (/eh-vee-ya/) comes from “evidence” and “via,” meaning a path or way forward, reflecting our mission to guide you through the noise and towards trustworthy information.

See what’s relevant to you

Skip the guesswork. Discover supplements backed by studies that match your profile.

REFLECTION

Future directions

With more time, I would've loved to continue shaping the tool with users while working on expanding the evidence base, before moving onto developing the visual identity and creating a high-fidelity prototype for usability testing.Although Evia began as a response to a critical gap in PCOS care, our team sees potential to adapt this approach for other areas like fertility, menopause, and diabetes, where clear, trustworthy guidance is equally needed. We hope this work can be a small step toward making research more patient-centred and accessible for everyone.
